Data Collection

We do not collect personal information, usage analytics, telemetry, crash reports, advertising identifiers, or tracking data. No account or sign-up is required.

Local Storage

Audiobook files, playback progress, bookmarks, notes, settings, cover art cache, and generated captions remain on your device.

On-Device Captions

Caption generation uses a Whisper speech recognition model running on your device. Audio is not sent to a server. The model may be downloaded once from Hugging Face when captions are first enabled.

Network Usage

The app is designed to work offline. Network use is limited to optional font loading and the optional one-time Whisper model download.

Third Parties

The app does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
